Launched fall 2009 by Srdjan Prodanovic, Alessandra Lanvin, and German designer Burak Uyan, Aperlaï is one of the most exciting new names in shoes. Uyan has worked at Givenchy and Giambattista Valli, and his designs are both architectural—inspirations for Aperlaï include Bauhaus and Tadao Ando—and disarmingly comfortable.
