Designer Bio
Jeweler Amy Grace is a woman with imagination and vision, as proven by her success as a designer. Growing up in the surf and art infused town of Laguna Beach, California, Amy could not help being influenced by all the creativity. Her career began while studying at the Laguna College of Art and Design. Leaving Laguna Beach in 1989, Amy began her exploration to surf tropical waves in the Pacific by moving to Hawaii and traveling deeper into the South Pacific to surf in amazing places like Tahiti, Tonga and Fiji. In fact, the Amy Grace Collection can be found in Fiji on the Islands of Tavarua and Namotu. Amy finds inspiration in the natural beauty of these exotic places. When she isn’t busy creating necklaces, bracelets and earrings, she is dreaming up new designs. Jewelry has been the thread that pulled all Amy’s interests together. Her designs are inspired and influenced both by her travels and by her knowledge of fashion and trends. Her love of pearls grew into a fun and fresh collection of jewelry that seems enchanted by the magical luster of the sea. “Pearls make such a wonderful statement,” says Amy. “I’m fascinated with their many colors, shapes, size and overall luster. It’s like owning a little piece of the sea.” In addition to South Sea Pearls, Amy’s designs feature rare Sunrise shells from Hawaii and assorted semi precious stones. The organic elements in her jewelry and the fact that no two pieces are exactly alike give Amy’s jewelry a special quality and one-of-a-kind feeling. Amy’s approach is fresh, hip and trend setting. The Amy Grace collection can be found in boutiques throughout the islands of Hawaii, Fiji, Australia and in California. [READ MORE]
