Top 10 Bags of the Moment

When it comes to finding our about the latest 'it' totes and must-have satchels, we often turn to the bag-obsessed ladies at Purseblog for guidance. Providing round the clock news and updates on all things bag-related (and super amusing commentary on guilty pleasures like The Real Housewives of New Jersey), the ladies at Purseblog have built a huge following for good reason.

We recently asked PurseBlog's Senior Editor, Amanda Mull (who you simply must follow on twitter both professionally and personally) to share her favorite bags of the season from beach totes to day clutches - and of course, we want them all! Using the left and right arrows below, click to see her favorites, and maybe you'll find a new love to bag.

  1. Balenciaga Day Bag with giant hardware, $1495

"Season after season, I find myself reaching for this bag. It's roomy, lightweight and comes in a veritable rainbow of colors."
  2. Botkier Ava Crossbody Bag - $395

"This little crossbody is a perfect day-to-night size, and in person, the neon color really pops against the gunmetal hardware."

  3. Mulberry Postman's Lock All-in-One Clutch - $495

"For daytime, I want a bright color and a couple of compartments to keep myself organized. Otherwise, chaos ensues."

  4. Alexander McQueen Iris Skull Clutch - $1947

"I am an inveterate McQueen fangirl, and the elaborate closure and chunky embroidery on this clutch befit the man's brilliant legacy."

  5. Valextra My Logo Sack Weekender - $4310

"I actually carry a Le Sportsac overnight bag, but in a perfect world, this Valextra bag screams luxury travel."
  6. Hermes Medium Jypsiere in orange clemence bullcalf - $7740

"Hermes is as close to an actual investment as it gets, and the Jypsiere is a thoroughly modern take on the iconic Birkin structure."

  7. Prada Raso Pietre Clutch - $2100

"In person, I found this bag mesmerizing. The different shades and sizes of the embellishment give you so much detail and texture to take in."

  8. Givenchy Large Antigona Satchel - $2040

"Neutral, functional and extremely precise - work bags don't get much more professional or much more stylish. The option of a shoulder strap on a bag like this makes a world of utilitarian difference, but you can still carry it on your arm when you're not lugging a laptop."
  9. Marc by Marc Jacobs Preppy Straw Rosa Tote - $178

"This tote is all about the neon trim, which updates the standard straw construction for a more contemporary look."

  10. Celine Luggage Tote - $1750

"This bag in lipstick red was my personal splurge for the season, and I can't say enough about how great it is. If you want one, start calling and pre-ordering now, because the best colors are gone before they even hit the sales floor."
