She's changed our lexicon forever, become a guilty TV pleasure for millions, is about to become a mother, and now, Rachel Zoe is poised to dress us all. See her complete debut collection here...
You know that we have a crush on Rachel Zoe. We told you about her line back in June 2010 (read OOC: Rachel Zoe is Launching a Clothing Line for the full story and background on Zoe) and when it was first announced the stylist said, “You will definitely see me in the clothes. Like, you will absolutely see my trademark pieces. I’ll definitely do faux furs and incredible leather jackets and great trousers. But I’m catering to a broader audience.” And cater she has...
There's no denying Zoe is a seventies girl through and through, and while her line certainly references the era, it does so in a chic, sophisticated, subtle way. Reflective of the woman the stylist has now become (business mogul, celebrity, and soon-to-be mother), the collection features a bevy of gorgeous suiting options, killer outerwear, several disco-ready sequined styles, and a super chic camel jumpsuit. There are also right-for-day brocade separates, an AMAZING black-trimmed camel cape, an LBD fit for Victoria Beckham, and a ruffled red cocktail dress that would look bananas on Cameron Diaz types.

Created with a stylists' eye, each look is well put together and completely wearable. Her wool trousers, which flare over the foot and fall to the floor, are sure to create the illusion of long legs for even the most petite girls. The color palate is rather neutral (save for the red ruffled frock), and guarantees ease of styling for consumers. And as most pieces are re-imagined classic shapes and silhouettes (oh yes, there are Chanel moments as well), they should prove wearable from year to year. "This is the scariest thing I've ever done," Zoe said today during her presentation, "but also the most fun!"
See the full collection below, which was presented to buyers just today:

What? Were you expecting an overly boho, accessory-heavy explosion? Not now. Not this season anyway. We're excited to try the clothing on for ourselves (because – as you know – fit and construction are everything), but tell us, are you?
