If the thought of helping legendary designer Oscar de la Renta with his creative process excites you, then prepare to be immensely turned on by The Board.
Created as a way for the luxury brand to further its online reach and interact directly with both actual and aspirational customers, The Board is essentially a crowd-sourced digital inspiration platform where people are encouraged to post images they feel may inspire the designer's upcoming resort collection. Currently, images of Brigitte Bardot and Jackie O are floating amongst sketches, patterns, Monet's Water Lilies and more. All uploaded images can be shared via Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, making The Board as smart a tool for the brand as it is engaging. Watch the video below as Oscar de la Renta himself explains a bit about what The Board is all about...
We're fans of crowd-sourced design and collaboration (remember this stellar one from PurseBlog and Rebecca Minkoff) and are excited to see the trend continue with such a prestigious brand.
Will you visit The Board? What do think should inspire Oscar's next collection?

I just visited THE BOARD, and I must say I really like it. I think it's such a creative and modern way for a Oscar to gain inspiration for his future collection. :)
