In a world consumed with all things new, pretty, and 'it' - more still seems to be more. For NY Fashion Week, Tumblr has selected not 1, 2, or 3 bloggers to send and report but more than 20 of them (!), while Louis Vuitton has selected a rather large group of up-and-coming cool girls from around the globe to push their latest jewelry collection.

The LV girls include international beauties from the world of film, TV, music, sport and fashion such as Alexandra Richards and Annabelle Dexter-Jones, as well as singers Mahini Geisweiller and Alka Balbirthe (shown above). The fashion jewelry line is traditionally created for a younger, more logo-centric customer and this season comes to us in four different collections: Damier Perle, Eye Candy, Cosmopolitan and Cocktail Tropical. Although the pieces reference Art Deco and the Sixties (somewhat), we must admit, that it is not nearly as striking or memorable as the girls themselves...

From a marketing perspective, We think the images are brilliant, but when we actually look at these pictures, we don't notice the jewelry at all. Do you find these images compelling? Do you want to join the cast of international LV 'It' girls?
