Bottega Veneta will be launching their first fragrance in 2011, completing their world and ours.

The Sweet Smell of Bottega Veneta

If I could, I would live in Bottega Veneta - I would wear it, sleep in it, eat and drink it. In fact, Bottega Veneta is almost reason enough to learn Italian.

The design house, best known for their signature intrecciato leather weave, has boasted no logo and pure sophistication since launching in 1966. An elite purveyor of accessories, Bottega Veneta is a major lifestyle brand, offering clothes for men and women, fine jewelry, hangbags, shoes, dinnerware, candles, pillows, furniture, luggage, even umbrellas - and come 2011, with the introduction of a fragrance, their world will be even more complete.

While the scent is not yet created, we bet it'll be a sexy musky scent with delicate earthy notes. If you had to design a scent for Bottega Veneta, what would it smell like? See the images below and let us know what sorts of smells they inspire in you...

P.S. If you're at Art Basel, be sure to visit Bottega Veneta's Creative Director Tomas Maier's store in Miami's design district at 170 N.E. 40th street - Click here for directions

Bottega Veneta's fragrance should smell like a cool fall morning - and leather! I bet the bottle will be beautiful. Wonder how much it'll cost.
