I’ve loved Ted Rossi for a long time now (and wear the pieces almost every day), but I love the man (or actually men) behind the brand even more. With an insane gift for mixing things up, creative director and designer Ted Wertz manages to create to the chicest stackable bangles, sexy cuffs, and drop-dead-gorgeous bags season after season.
What began with those simply perfect python bangles has now expanded into a full accessory line including some of he best handbags and clutches one can find. For fall, a series of sharp spikes balance on black Swarovski pearl strands, extreme bling crystal embellishments adorn everything, and zippers bring that urban edge to the otherwise ladylike materials. Reminiscent of Rihanna’s Disturbia video in some ways, Ted Rossi’s fall collection has a decadent, yet dangerous feel to it that is as alluring as Bill Compton on HBO’s hit series True Blood.
We caught up with the man behind the brand to discover how he defines style, what he finds inspiring, and a few of his favorite things:

Ted Wertz: Being yourself, feeling comfortable, making your own choice, and sometimes taking risks
