Stella McCartney launches her newest lingerie collection at the Bendon showrooms today, and for us here at StyledOn it is love at first sight. Stella's new palette includes pale pinks and neutrals, as well as graphic and floral prints, vintage-inspired silhouettes with gold hardware. We've long been fans of Stella's intimates, but particularly love the cheeky names she gave this collection. WWD reports:
Each of the 15 groups is named after women in what McCartney describes as cheeky situations, such as Rosie Plotting, a silk chiffon printed range featuring a black-and-white feather print from the Stella McCartney ready-to-wear collection; Eva Scampering, a playful silk chiffon ladybug-printed group with a cami, a chemise and a matching brief; Billie Twirling, a vintage-inspired knicker and chemise with scallop hem of silk satin with a matte-and-shine contrast, and Ines Sneaking, a pale pink lace and silk crepe de chine contour bra, underwire bra and coordinating undies.
In honor of these playful names, we've decided to name some pieces after ourselves: The Casey would include a classic black silk garter belt, a thin lace strappy bra and a low rise bikini bottom; The Emily would consist of a liberty-print balconnet bra and Brazilian-cut bottoms. Thanks for the inspiration Stella, we're bringing out our inner vamp
What would you name your lingerie line, and what would it look like?
