Style icon and Vogue Nippon's Fashion Director at Large, Anna Dello Russo is launching a fragrance. And just like her fashion choices, the perfume is simply Beyond.
Anna Dello Russo (who has just left for someplace fabulous on Holiday), officially released information regarding her first fragrance named Beyond just days ago via her blog. The campaign (pictured above to the right) was done by Giampaolo Sgura and under the art direction of Marco Braga, features the editor herself as well as the seriously bling-tastic golden shoe bottle. And the smell? A combination of vanilla and almonds, she says.
Hitting shelves this coming holiday season, you can bet Beyond will be a popular gift between fashion girls. So why did the editor create a fragrance? In her words: RONNIE NEWHOUSE defined me INSIDERREALITY FASHION STAR and then I thought NOW IS THE TIME TO DO A PERFUME.
But don't think this is the only project ADR has tucked away in those puffy Lanvin sleeves of hers. Apparently she's also starring in her own movie, Anna Dello Russo World Fashion Tour. See below for the teaser...
Simply beyond, right? Do you want to smell like ADR? If you were launching personal fragrance, how would it smell and what would you name it?
And if you missed Tommy Ton's post on her favorite things on his blog, Jak & Jil (which is where the above right image is from), you really ought to take a look...
