She says she just wants a card for Mother's Day, but we know better. Really – we asked!

Mom Spills the Beans: What She Really Wants For Mother's Day

My mom is one StyledOn lady, and I'm not just saying that. She has great taste and killer style, so when I asked her what she truly wants for mother's day I wasn't surprised to see that she picked some choice pieces to share with us all.

Above, left to right: "I love this Land's End bag – it's clean and simple without all the metal that my daughter likes to wear. It will go to my Garden Club board meetings, or to the beach. Practical and sleek."

"This eyelet shift dress is perfect for lunches out with my girlfriends, or even date night with my husband. I would pair it with a bright cardigan to add some pop."

"If I could buy my own mother's day gift – and I can! – it would be a pair of these horn cuffs They remind me of my the 60's when I watched my college-aged aunts get dressed up to scope out the guys at the lake where we spent the summer."

"MoMA got it right when they suggested Patricia Von Mususlin's necklace for Mother's Day. Wow! The beauty of natural shells combined with great design makes this an instant classic. I want this."

"What a fun way to come home - stepping onto this blast of color. I love a little whimsy where you least expect it."

"A secret fascination of mine is graffiti.  I see it as a reflection of our culture that youth has always provided us. It’s important for all of us, whatever our age, to look at it and listen to what they are saying."

"What a gorgeous image by Christian Coigny, it's perfect for a master bathroom. What could be more beautiful than the female form?"

"I always have a few red shoes in my wardrobe for those days that I need a pick-me-up. I especially love these cap-toed sneakers from Bensimon – an updated version of the Converse All Star (which I also love).  These would make me feel so young!"

"For dress up, I love this black and white summer dress by Carmen Marc Valvo. The black, scoop-neck collar turns the 1950's cut into something more elegant."

"This Eileen Fisher cardigan isn't one I would splurge on for myself, but I love it. Over a little black dress or with a white tank top and jeans, I would feel beautiful."

"What a blast to wear this David Meister dress! Great cut combined with POLKA DOTS!"

Do you know what your mother really wants for Mother's Day?
