In the Garden

Punchy, fun florals are cropping up at all our favorite stores. Here's why we can't resist this blooming trend – and what we're loving now.
Between too much rain and too short bursts of sunshine, I've been stuck in a wardrobe rut. So with an hour to kill before a Saturday matinee this weekend, I popped into H&M to check out the Garden Collection. The collection has been met with plenty of rave reviews, and I was not disappointed in the least. The store was packed, and although I didn’t have the patience or the time to try anything on, I grabbed a handful of pieces that caught my eye and tried on when I got home.
What a revelation! The rosette-embellished cropped jacket (seen here) is brightening up my gloomy Monday; it’s the perfect statement piece to perk up jeans or pair with a simple sundress (without too much of an investment).
There was plenty more I could have scored from the Garden Collection (maxi and mini dresses, floral blouses and tunics), but with so many other floral collections cropping up at other wallet-friendly stores like Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, BCBG and Zara, I’m planning on spreading the love around. Here are some of our favorite picks for brightening up your spring wardrobe:
Select looks from the H&M Garden Collection, in stores now.
Flirty florals from Forever 21, available in stores and online at Forever21.com.
Get dressy with these perky pieces from BCBGMAXAZRIA, in stores and online.
How will you brighten up your wardrobe this spring?
