Big names in both the fashion and art world came out last night in honor of Marina Abramovic's 700 hours of sitting time for her exhibit, The Artist Is Present.

Givenchy Fetes Marina Abramovic at MoMA

Thousands of New Yorkers, art-lovers, and tourists came out to see Marina Abramovic’s performance and retrospective at the MoMA, and last night Givenchy celebrated the exhibit’s closing with an equally impressive dinner that drew out the likes of Agnes Gund (who spent 11 years as MoMA’s president), Courtney Love, Ricardo Tisci, Fabiola Beracasa and Terence Koh. Abramovic looked stunning a chic appliquéd leather jacket, and the sea of Givenchy was pretty much every fashion-lover’s wet dream.

Abramovic said, “You know when you're in the 70s and you're an artist and you wear nail polish and lipstick they don't take you seriously. You look like you want to sleep with the curator. I love vanity and I love fashion and I don't have shame to tell it. His work is magical, but he's good looking, too, that really counts.”

Following the dinner held in the MoMA’s second floor atrium, partygoers hit the Boom Boom room at Andre Balazs’ (also in appearance) Standard Hotel, concluding the night in true New York fashion. Here’s a look at some of the incredible styles that could be seen on the scene last night:

Marina Abramovic with Bjork; Christina Ricci.

Cecilia Dean; Ciara.

Downtown performance artist Kembra Pfahler; Liv Tyler and Malgosia Bela.

Natasha Poly; Joan Smalls.

Courtney Love; Fabiola Beracasa.

Michael Stipe and Patti Smith; Terence Koh.

Veronica Webb; Andre Balazs.

Who do you think was the most StyledOn guest of the evening?
