No one does it quite like the stunning Daria Werbowy. Here, a sneak peek at one of our favorite models in V Magazine's upcoming issue: Ave María!
Inspired by Mexican actress Maria Felix—also known as La Doña—a woman who eventually became a fixture in the fashion world as well as in Mexican cinema, the 10 page spread in issue #64 of V Magazine was shot by Mario Testino and styled by Sarajane Hoare. Once dressed by designers like Christian Dior, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel, Felix also commissioned serpent and crocodile diamond necklaces from Cartier Paris—clearly an influence in V’s “Ave Maria.”
Mexican film star Maria Felix never came across a hat too dramatic or a diamond too big. In an ode to La Doña, supermodel Daria Werbowy heads south of the border.
The issue doesn't come out on newsstands for a few more days, but we couldn't help but share this with you now. Enjoy...
