Born into a legacy of shoe makers, Alejandro Ingelmo has what it takes to keep us walking on cloud 9 for a very long time. From sky-high, cut-out, patent leather sandals to more sensible and chic flats, this collection is one to wear and wear and wear and wear...
Ingelmo's great grandfather was a shoe cobbler in Spain before the family immigrated to Cuba in the early 1900s to later establish a prestigious men's shoe factory. Born and raised with Cuban influences, the designer's signature now maintains the sexy allure of his heritage, while incorporating a powerfully directional New York edge.
Nominated in 2008 as one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund top ten candidiates, Ingelmo has added a men's shoe collection (includes trainers and dress shoes), small leather goods and accessories to his line since making his debut just 3 short years ago. We can't wait to see what he comes up with for next Fall.
Are you loving Alejandro's pieces as much as we are? Which is your favorite?
