Get to know Bay Area blogger Laura Ellner in this week's edition of Blog Love!

Laura Ellner knows a thing or two about fashion – and luckily for us she shares her looks and style tips on her her blog, On The Racks. A San Francisco-based blogger and Marketing Associate, Laura rocks a wide range of styles, from preppy to professional, and from boho to grunge. We got to know Laura in this week's edition of Blog Love, and you can see the rest of her blog here!

StyledOn: Tell us a little about yourself – how did you get into blogging?
Laura Ellner: I live in San Francisco with my boyfriend, Blake (he takes my pictures!), and our King Charles pup, Lola. I started blogging about two years ago as a side project from my job as Marketing Associate at Shop It To Me. I was looking for a creative outlet where I could express my love for fashion, and it has since become a really fun and rewarding hobby!

SO: Who or what has most influenced your style?
LE: I find inspiration from all over -- whether it is by checking out magazines and street style photography or other blogs! I do like to try and make my looks unique, however... I really enjoy just having fun with clothes, tearing my closet apart and playing dress up to see what different things I can come up with!

SO: Shoes or handbags?
LE: Shoes! I am a shoe freak.

SO: What is the most treasured item in your closet?
LE: Probably my Alexander Wang Diego bag. I saved up for it for so long and just love that thing!

SO: What’s at the top of your wishlist right now?
LE: I am moving to New York in February, so this California girl needs a BIG, warm coat! I am trying to find one that gets the job done without completely sacrificing style.

SO: What is your dream job?
LE: I am not sure that I know that yet! I have really enjoyed working in fashion marketing with a focus on social media, but would love to try something super creative like styling for magazine photo shoots! Can you think of anything better than being around beautiful clothes and shoes all day?!

SO: If you could go shopping with anyone for a day, who would it be?
LE: Maybe Karl Lagerfeld because he clearly has amazing taste and just seems like a really quirky guy.

SO: We love your blog and read it on a regular basis. Which blogs do you read the most?
LE: Thank you!! I read SO many blogs, both for work and for fun... some of my favorites include Late Afternoon, Going West and Atlantic-Pacific.

SO: Tell us something about yourself that we might not expect.
LE: I am not really sure! I pretty much put it all out there on the blog, so if you follow me on there you'll get to know me real well. ;)
