We're thrilled to bring you this week's installment of Blog Love, featuring Hanh of Life in Travel. Ever since we discovered her blog last year, we have been dying to learn more about this stylish jetsetter, from her packing tricks to her go-to airport outfit. Now, she is dishing on her favorite designers, fashion-loving children, and how she stays chic all around the world. Read our interview with Hanh below and see her blog here!
StyledOn: Tell us a little about yourself – how did you get into blogging?
Hanh: I'm a mother of two children who wants to be the best mother in the world, a wife who wants to be the best wife ever, a blogger who is madly in love with fashion. I'm a family person and love to spend time with my family and loved ones. In fact, I enjoy cooking and host family dinner parties every Saturday night. Besides all that, I love traveling, and of course traveling in style. To me fashion is fun – I like playing with my pieces, making an adventure of it, having an experience with my looks to express my attitude, my mood of the day. I also love to explore different cultures, customs, and different cuisines.
When I discovered the blog world I noticed that there are a lot of fashion blogs out there. Because I have opportunities to travel, it inspired me to try and make a blog with more variety. It's not only sharing my passion for fashion, but also sharing my travel experiences and lifestyle in general.

SO: You spend a lot of time travelling – what are your tips for packing?
Hanh: I always pack light when I travel with my children. I like to know if the trip is a casual or formal trip, what kind of activities I'm going to do... These give me ideas what I should pack. Try to pack mix/match outfits, a pair of fabulous heels that go with everything, one pair of flats, and/or one stylish pair of sneakers. For skincare products, I just bring what's necessary, like face lotion, eye cream, cleanser, and I put them in those little sample jars.
SO: When you travel, do you have a go-to airport outfit?
Hanh: I definitely have a go-to airport outfit: stretchy leggings or skinny jeans, my favorite Yigal animal printed loose tunic, shoes that are easy to put on and take off, and no jewelry for a quick pass through security. I prefer to have my jewelry in my carry-on bag, so that I can put it on after I get off the plane.
SO: What is the most treasured item in your closet?
Hanh: This is a hard one. But if I have to choose one thing, I have to say that it’s my blue zipper hem skirt, which I designed.

SO: What’s at the top of your wishlist right now?
Hanh: I can't have enough Rick Owens.
SO: Do your daughters have as much fun with fashion as you do?
Hanh: Definitely, my younger daughter was the one to encourage/beg me to purchase my first Alexander McQueen clutch (she has no idea who McQueen is). She fell in love with it at first sight when I took her to the Forty Five Ten boutique in Dallas. She actually designed for herself a dress when she was five, and a ring that we had made and featured on my blog. And my older daughter said to me not long ago, "Mama, whatever clothes in your closet you don't want anymore, give them to me."
SO: If someone were to play you in the movie version of your life, who would it be?
Hanh: Michelle Yeoh or Zhang Ziyi.

SO: We love your blog and read it on a regular basis. Which blogs do you read the most?
Hanh: I love Citizen Couture, and Stockholm StreetStyle.
SO: Tell us something about yourself that we might not expect.
Hanh: Through traveling, I have developed an appreciation and thankfulness for what I have in life. Growing up in Vietnam, I was taught that we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. Every Saturday, we give 1 week's food supply for about 100 elderly people in my village where I grew up. I've supported many young, poor students in my village who love school but can't afford the books and pens.
