One of our favorite thing about style blogs is their ability to transport us into the world of the author – and that is especially true of Martina Vackova's blog, Danny Rose Fashion. She takes us on tour of the Czech Republic through her striking photos and awesome outfits, and introduces us to some of her many stylish friends along the way. StyledOn: Tell us a little about yourself – how did you get into blogging?
Martina Vackova: As is common among bloggers, I was excited after browsing other Czech blogs and felt that I might offer something different and hopefully more interesting than what I had seen.

SO: What is the style scene in Prague like?
MV: For a long time I thought it was more of an absence of a scene than anything but things have been changing lately. I’m happy to see that blogs have been playing a more integral part in the general atmosphere.

SO: Who in your life has influenced your style?
MV: I would say my aunt. She is the one who took me shopping ever since I can remember.

SO: Is it true that you are a burlesque dancer? Can you tell us more about that?
MV: Well I have to say that between my job and my blog (which has kind of become my much more enjoyable second job), I don’t have much time to perform anymore but I still love to go see the shows – I enjoy the charming atmosphere of the American 1940s burlesque that the modern day burlesque is based on.

SO: What is the most treasured item in your closet?
MV: This beautiful vintage leather clutch I bought in Santa Fe.

SO: What’s at the top of your wishlist right now?
MV: A good pencil skirt.

SO: In your opinion, what makes a great personal style blog?
MV: I believe one of the most important things is innovative and professional photography. For me this is an area I’m always working to improve on.

SO: If you could go shopping with anyone for the day, who would it be and why?
MV: With my friend Honza, because he is honest and gives me the best advice.

SO: We love your blog and read it on a regular basis. Which blogs do you read the most?
MV: There are so many I like but I am always excited to see new posts from honestlywtf.com.

SO: Tell us something about yourself that we might not expect.
MV: People usually find it very surprising to hear that I am married.
