For everyone who thinks of cheetah and leopard print as their favorite neutrals, meet Alicia and her blog, Cheetah Is The New Black. This business turned fashion blogger is full of surprises as she hops from coast to coast! Just as cute and charming in person as she is online, Alicia is without a doubt our latest girl-crush. She caught our eye with her wardrobe of statement making seperates and firey red hair, and our crush is definitely here to stay! Read on to learn all about Alicia and find out her shoe shopping secrets...
StyledOn: Tell us a little about yourself - how did you get into blogging?
Alicia Lund: I started my blog back in November of 2009. I was working at an investment firm at the time and was desperately in need of a creative outlet outside of my day job. I loved to write and my boyfriend at the time (now husband) suggested I start a blog. I quickly feel in love with the inspiring community!

SO: How has your style evolved with your blog?
AL: My blog and my style have both grown up over the past few years. It's all been a fun self-expressive learning process and great (albeit a little embarrassing) to be able to look back through the archives at some of my very first outfit posts. The best part about photographing your outfits is really visualizing what works and doesn't work on your body. I've learned a lot about the fit of clothes and which designers fit me best.
SO: When did you first fall in love with fashion (and cheetah!)?
AL: Gosh, I've loved fashion since I was a little girl. My mom always let me pick out my own clothes and I loved shopping with her but it wasn't until my college years when I really started mixing leopard/cheetah prints into my looks.
SO: Any style secrets you'd like to share?
AL: Find a great tailor (especially if you're a shorty like me!)

SO: If you could collaborate with anyone on a project, who and what would it be?
AL: Gosh, there are so many designers and brands I'd love to collaborate on, I can't choose! I've always loved Alice + Olivia and would love to collaborate on a fun party dress, Current/Elliott on a pair of denim, or Cynthia Rowley (I love her prints)...the list goes on and on!
SO: What is the most treasured item in your closet?
AL: I have so many prized items in my closet but I think I'd have to say my leather collection (specifically my Vince leggings and Helmut Lang leather sleeved blazer) and a Cynthia Rowley skirt that I still have yet to wear.
SO: Where do you find the most inspiration?
AL: Walking around New York (best people watching!), traveling, and online.

SO: We can tell you love a good pair of shoes! Who are some of your go-to designers?
AL: I have many favorites; Miu Miu, Christian Louboutin, and Prada. I find a lot of my designer shoes at consignment stores and I've also found a number of my favorite heels at Zara.
SO: We're currently loving your blog! Which blogs do you read the most?
AL: So many...The Coveteur, The Man Repeller, Atlantic-Pacific, Could I Have That?, This Time Tomorrow, Brooklyn Blonde...the list goes on.
SO: So, California to New York...which do you prefer? Any must-see places in the city?
AL: I will always be a California girl at heart and San Francisco is my favorite city but I have been dreaming about living in New York for years so I am thrilled to finally be here. I will say I miss the laid back vibe of San Francisco but the energy in New York is unbeatable. I recently moved to the city and enjoy spending my days in the West Village...shopping at Otte and grabbing a glass of rose at Buvette is my ideal afternoon.

Are you ready to add a bit of cheetah into your daily routine?
