If you're craving a cozy, cool fall wardrobe and country jaunt, live vicariously through Amanda Brohman's beautiful life and The Style Gossiper in this week's edition of Blog Love.

Amanda is The Style Gossiper

She may be new to the blogging game, but Amanda Brohman of The Style Gossiper is a natural. With a love for bright red lips and textured, cozy sweaters, Amanda's style is the perfect blend of on-trend and classic pieces. Her photos speak for themselves – shot against gorgeous backdrops in and around her hometown of Umea, Sweden. Read out interview and fall in love with Amanda, then check out the rest of her blog here!

StyledOn: Tell us a little about yourself – how did you get into blogging?
Amanda Brohman: I haven’t been blogging for long, actually. I began blogging for a Swedish fashion magazine (Veckorevyn) in January 2011 and now, just a month ago, I’ve moved to my own blog The Style Gossiper. So I’m very new in this business and I sometimes feel very inexperienced in comparison to all of these other amazing and talented girls who have been blogging for much longer! But I’m learning and I love it!

SO: Are there any Fall trends your are especially excited to try?
AB: I was all about cute and girly dresses this summer. Now I’ve changed my style completely and I’m all for skinny black jeans, platform boots, knitted sweaters with white dress shirts underneath (to get the right amount of preppy!). I really like the wide selection of cozy sweaters this autumn, it’s all about being stylish but comfortable at the same time, how awesome is that?!

SO: What is the most treasured item in your closet?
AB: I think it might be my cognac brown leather jacket from Acne, it goes perfectly with everything and it can make a very boring outfit seem fun and trendy.

SO: What’s at the top of your wishlist right now?
AB: A lot of things! A new camera, a new pair of Steve Madden wedges (I lost my old ones!) and an iPhone 5.

SO: In your opinion, what makes a great personal style blog?
AB: Oh, that’s a really difficult question to answer. First of all you need to have something unique, something that makes me want to visit your blog instead of the hundreds of thousands of other blogs every day. I also think that good photos, different environments and creativity are crucial to make a blog interesting.

SO: If you could spend a day shopping with one person, who would it be and why?
AB: Blair Waldorf, for sure. She’s just amazing, amazing, amazing! And her closet is just mind-blowing as well, so if she wouldn’t be the perfect shopping mate I don’t know who would!

SO: What is the best compliment you’ve ever been given?
AB: People just say such nice things all of the time and I get so happy by every one of the things they say! But a few weeks ago when I was having lunch at the mall with a friend, a few 12-year-old girls came up to me and told me how much they loved my style and my blog, that just melted me completely! Also, Annika of According To Annika compared my style to Serena Van Der Woodsen’s in an article in the fashion magazine Sofis Mode, that might have been the nicest thing to hear for a Gossip Girl addict like myself!

SO: We love your blog and read it on a regular basis. Which blogs do you read the most?
AB: I read so many blogs. I just counted the blogs I follow on Bloglovin’ and realized I am currently following over 100 different blogs! But my absolute favorites are definitely my friends’ blogs and fashiontoast, The Cherry Blossom Girl, Gary Pepper Vintage and Park&Cube.

SO: Tell us something about yourself that we might not expect.
AB: A lot of people who don’t know me are surprised when they find out I’m only 17 years old. Also, both of my parents are literature professors at the university and at the age of 14 I had read basically all of the books which are featured in the English literature course at university: from Moby Dick to Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice. I was quite a nerd, and I still am in some ways I guess.

Are you loving Amanda's style?
