Jen Humphrey of A Go-Go is a full-time LA girl who blogs about her love of music, fashion, and adventures in modeling. Her posts almost always share her song of the moment and offer a glimpse behind the scenes into her busy lifestyle. She's got that downtown-LA vibe totally nailed and can pull off a floppy hat like no other. With a style that makes you want to start from scratch and invest in a fabulous leather jacket to top it all off, we had to sit down with this girl about town and find out how she got her start and where she wants to go! StyledOn: Tell us a little about yourself - how did you get into blogging?
Jen Humphrey: I started blogging with a friend of mine, we would take photos of each other's outfits and now here I am!

SO: Has your style evolved at all since you started recording and sharing it?
JH: I think my style is always evolving, but yes, from when I first started, I am a bit more simple than I was.

SO: What are three staples you think everyone needs in their closet?
JH: Ohhh, lets see...leather pants, a motorcycle jacket, and a black blazer. With those three pieces you can make anything look stylish.

SO: When did you first fall in love with fashion?
JH: I've always loved fashion...even when I was little I was very particular in what I wore and was always playing around with outfits.

SO: What's the most treasured item in your closet?
JH: Oh gosh, this is hard. I honestly am not sure what it is right now.

SO: If you could collaborate with anyone on anything what would it be and why?
JH: If I were to collaborate it would definitely be with a clothing line where I would love to curate a small collection. I can't tell you who because then my wish may not happen...haha!

SO: You're pictures are stunning! (Being a model can't hurt!) Do you plan your backdrops with your outfits, or does it just work out that they go so well together?
JH: Awww, thank you! What I usually do is pick what I want to shoot, then my boyfriend and I hit the road until I see a location that I think works.

SO: How would you describe your style in one word?
JH: Hmm...I guess effortless, I'm definitely not all done up perfectly. To me, less is more.

SO: We're currently loving your blog! What blogs do you read on a daily basis?
JH: Gosh, I used to be able to read blogs on the daily, but my schedule has been all over the place so it's been a bit hard to keep up.

SO: What are your go-to spots in LA?
JH: For shopping, I love going to Wasteland or Slow on Melrose to find a few one of a kind pieces. I like the hunt of shopping, so going to vintage shops is a must!
