  1. Smooth Infusion Glosing Straightener by Aveda
Make frizz, static and constant fly-aways a thing of the past with a healthy serving of Aveda's Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener.

We all know what a bad hair day can do to you–snicker if you must, but deep down, somewhere inside of you, you know what I'm talking about. Like a little black rain cloud, a horrible hair day will put a damper on even the most sunny of days.Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener for frizzy or stic hair

Whether you've got a major case of the frizzies or static shock (as I've been dealing with lately) try altering and upping the amount of product you use–which was suggested to me by the lovely ladies at Folica (the place for all things hair).

Typically I wash my hair every other day and then blow it out with a T3 Featherweight Hair Drier, but lately–with the super cold, dry weather–that hasn't been cutting it at all. Today I put in about double the amount of the Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener that I usually use (just as I was told to) before drying and it has made a huge difference. Yes, my scarf still messed up my tresses a bit, but all-in-all my hair is tame enough to leave down. And really, in this weather, at this time of year, what more can you ask for?

Anyway, I've tried a bunch and the Aveda Smooth Infusion collection doesn't leave a greasy feeling on my hair at all, but still manages to do a good job. Do you use a straightening product before you blow dry? If so, what do you use?
