Moncler and Comme des Garcons are two of the busiest brands in fashion these days, so it's only appropriate that they team up for a collaboration. Unfortunately, aside from the picture above, we're just going to have to use our imaginations as to what the collection will look like. A spokesperson was tight-lipped to WWD, saying only that the storefront "will carry a mix of black merchandise from both brands as well as an exclusive range of cobranded pieces."
Comme des Garcons' rotating storefront in Tokyo recently housed a concept magazine collaboration with Japanese Vogue called Magazine Alive, and previously, a collaborative store with Louis Vuitton. Tavi's fave creative director, Rei Kawakubo has been teaming up with just about everyone, including Speedo and Converse.
Moncler has been teaming up with guests designers like Pharrell, Sacai, and most recently Visvim, who debuted their woodsy, oldschool collection called Moncler V earlier this week (seen below). Another new line, called Moncler Grenoble, will debut this month during New York Fashion Week. The fashion world has never before been such a collaborative place to be, and we're certainly feeling the love (and dying to get into one of those seriously StyledOn puffy coats!)
Who do you think Moncler or Comme des Garcons should team up with?
