Moroso + Diesel = Successful Living

March 05, 2010

Far, far away from Diesel's current ad campaign (which encourages us to 'be stupid'), comes a collection with Moroso aimed at successful, modern living.
Moroso + Diesel = Successful Living

Moroso, with Diesel, has created a collection of products with a relaxed and comfortable mood, taking its inspiration from an informal lifestyle concept and targeting consumers who seek a “modern” style made up of high quality combined with a distinct design of pure lines.

The world of music is evoked in the Rock Collection, which includes glass-topped tables (some featuring screen prints of turntables), a folding screen and consoles styled after touring cases. The complementary Camp Collection includes a lounge chair and sofas, and Overdyed is a series of wood chairs and low tables.

We ran into this collection earlier today while walking through Moroso and after a brief (but highly satisfying) visit to Paul Smith. What caught our eye was the Ego Stud: the mirror seen directly below, which retails for $945. Framed with studded black leather and hung canteen-style to the wall, this looking glass seems more Bess than Diesel–and we like it.
