Famous for her wrap-dresses, Diane von Furstenberg is now wrapping our homes in her colorful prints.
We're all about lifestyle here at StyledOn and would die if all of our favorite designers had the opportunity and desire to design both for the body and home. Following the announcement of Basso & Brooke's expansion into the world of interior design, Diane von Furstenberg announces the DvF Collection, a line of tabletop, bedding and bath items that will hit shelves in next January.
This certainly isn't DVF's first foray into the home – she's decorated suites for Claridge’s hotel (which will be unveiled next week), decorated her own amazing homes in New York City, Connecticut and Paris, and also created a rug collection – but this will certainly be her most accessible effort to date.
On designing for the home, Diane told WWD, "Instead of designing for the body, you are creating an environment. But it’s the same in terms of functionality and the need for it to be colorful, happy and harmonious."
