Now that this has officially become the Neverending Winter, it's time to talk comfort food.

StyledOn Favorite: Momofuku Noodle Bar

While Momofuku Noodle Bar certainly isn't new to the foodie scene, it remains a favorite of both critics and patrons, and in weather like this it's all we want to eat. If you haven't yet discovered the goodness served up at Momofuku (which means "lucky peach"), allow us to tell you exactly why it's a favorite of ours.

Packed into pillowy buns folded over taco-style, the juicy mushrooms and slightly sweet sauce make this a perfect snack before a steaming bowl of noodles. There are also pork buns on the menu, but if you're going to opt for the Momofuku Ramen (see below), we suggest starting with 'shrooms instead.

Momofuku Ramen
The motherlode of ramen, this aint your $0.99 Nissin. Made with pork belly, pork shoulder, and a poached egg, the house ramen bowl is a salty, satisfying comfort food for dark days like these. With a perfect broth to noodle ratio (and plenty of noodles), we can barely finish the whole bowl, but implore you to leave room for dessert.

Soft-Serve

Not your average scoop, the soft-serve flavors rotate frequently. Some of my favorites have included shortbread, banana bread, tea, and other surprising choices. The soft-serve is thick and rich, and comes in an adorably tiny ramekin.

Don't run to Momofuku – it's too snowy and slippery for that – but get there as fast as you can, and observe as your winter worries melt away into a big hot bowl of noodle soup.
