Keep It Covered: iPad Edition

With the iPad Wi-Fi + 3G now on shelves, we're seriously considering spending this month's shoe allowance on one of the sleek gadgets. But if we do take the tech plunge, how to dress the little guy?
I'll be the first to admit that I'm a total sucker for cool, new things – especially shiny ones that can be accessorized and customized. That being said, it's rather surprising that I don't already own an iPad – although now that the Wi-Fi + 3G version is out, I expect that to soon change.
So rather than mull over the iPad, it is now time to think about pimping one out...
Louis Vuitton's iPad case, a simple sleeve in the label's signature Monogram or the monochrome Damier Graphite (seen above and to the right), is pretty damn StyledOn, but it won't be available until 2011 and it'll set us back about $350. Offering a more affordable and Vers will soon bring us a chic, wooden case (nearly identical to their much loved iPhone case) for $79.99.
And sad as this may seem, those are really the only decent iPad covers available right now. We're sure there are many, many more to come and we can only hope that (please, Miuccia!) Prada will create one using one of their signature prints. I'll take one covered in the print inspired by the Peacock Revolution, seen during Fall 2003 please.
Do you have an iPad? How would you keep it covered?

I really don't understand why, but I feel like i need one of these. I suppose I will wait for the third generation and the slashed price point.
