Somehow your place became the place to be this Sunday? Here are a few last minute ideas to help you make it through the Super Bowl without any serious fumbles...
Follow our easy play-by-play and you'll make it through the day StyledOn and sane...
1. Remember that aside from the actual game, the main attraction of the day will be the food. Our advice? Keep things simple, keep 'em savory, and keep everything well-stocked.
Some suggestions: Guacamole is always a winner and while we prefer it homemade, we also know a great trick: Buy a few packs of Wholly Guacamole from Costco, add in diced tomato, lots of fresh squeezed lime juice, crushed sea salt and a bit of cilantro. Don't forget to stock up on tortilla chips. Salsa too.
Veggie & fruit platters are also a hit and provide your guests with more options. Order these from Fresh Direct, your local grocery store, or make them yourself with a selection of carrots, brocolli, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, and apples, grapes, strawberries or melon.

And a game just isn't a game without BBQ wings. Love 'em, but not the thought of actually making them? Order from Virgil's–they cater and are amazing. For those of you in Brooklyn, Williamsburg's Fette Sau is the place you want to order from (call 718.963.3404). For these guys, don't forget Ranch or Bleu Cheese dressing.
Of course, you can always order pizza as well. Papa John's,Domino's, Pizza Hut–whatever. Just make sure you order a few different kind of pies (as boring as all cheese may be, a lot of people eat it).
2. Don't forget the beer. Seriously: no beer = no Super Bowl party. Even if you don't enjoy it yourself. (Want something a bit more fun and fancy? Serve sangria. We've got great white and red sangria recipes that are sure crowd pleasers, but WARNING: making sangria takes time; you have to do it one day prior.)
3. And now to set the scene: You could go with pom-poms and balloons, or you could keep things comfortable and a tad more StyledOn. Throw a few pigskins onto the table to create a casual centerpiece that can be used for later play. Incorporate the colors of your favorite team into your decor through candles, pillows, and throws. Also, (this should really go up with the food, but for some reason we're considering this part of the decor) set bowls of popcorn, M&Ms, nuts or pretzels in bowls around the room.
What to wear? We've rounded up a few of our favorite styles here to help you get your game on. Get more into the spirit and smudge a little "eye black" under one of your peepers.
How will you celebrate the big game?

Awesome job Casey! Guys will gorge on meat lovers pizza, which will partially sedate them. If shots are involved expect the men to behave like Neanderthals so hold them off as long as possible. Have fun !
