For those who work online and in the digital world, gadgets aren't just toys to pass the time with (althought they definitely are fun), they're also an essential part of our day-to-day. From smartphones to e-readers and tablets, the latest technologies have made staying connected and plugged-in easier–and chicer!–than ever.

We sat down with some of our favorite digital mavens to hear what keeps them going, what makes their workloads lighter, and their favorite sources of technological entertainment.

   Carol Han Partner, CA Creative; Blogger, Milk and Mode. "I tend to keep things pretty streamlined gadget-wise. I'm minimal, but the electronics I do use, I use to death and carry around with me everywhere I go. Among them are my Blackberry for all those constant work emails that have to be answered right away (BBM is also something that I rely on Blackberry heavily for), my iPhone for the quick connection, texting, Google Maps (I'd literally be lost without it), and all my cooking apps. My camera is a constant at my side. I take about half the pictures on my blog with it, and almost all the food pictures. It's just a little Canon point-and-shoot, but it's excellent and has some handy settings that make the images look a lot more professional than they actually are.    Angela Gilltrap Editor-in-Chief, Running With Heels digital magazine. "I love this USB ring from Polish designer Marcin Nowak. I found it while attending Fashion Philosophy (Polish fashion week). Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure? I never travel without my Belle Hop Travel Alarm. This little gadget helps me sleep easier at night. I’ve definitely stayed in hotels where more than one key opens your room, and at least this way you're not taken by surprise. For memory-making, I love my Instax Mini 7S Instant Camera. Going old school has never been so fun. Plus any shot taken with one of these, will make you look a million bucks."

   Sarah Conley Blogger, StyleITOnline. "My Verizon MiFi - gives me 4G data service almost anywhere and gives me the freedom to work from anywhere. Best tech purchase I've made all year!"

   Sara Zucker Blogger, SaraZucker.com. "I'm obsessing over EMTEC's Animal Series USB flash drives. They may not have a crazy amount of space, but they are a hell of a lot cuter than that boring branded thing you have on your keychain right now."

   Karen Robinovitz Co-Founder, Digital Brand Architects. "I can't live without my Roku, streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. We use it every Sunday for marathon sessions of old TV shows. The Sony Bloggie HD camera is my must-have for video on the go, and my Macbook Air is also a constant companion – it fits in every handbag, travels well, and she's so cute and slim! Lastly, I'm eagerly awaiting the new iPhone in September. Hurry, Apple!"

   Casey Kettleson Creative and Editorial Director, StyledOn. "I love a good gadget almost as much as I love a good shoe. My latest gadget crush is on the HP TouchPad. Not only am I sleeping with it every night (it is an excellent device for watching videos in bed), I started playing too many games on it and simply adore the app Facebook has created for it. And while I can't live without my iPhone 4, lately I haven't been able to leave the house without my Nook Color in tow as well – makes reading all my favorite magazines, and the 800+ pages in Game of Thrones much more commuter friendly."

   Jenna Blackwell Online and Social Media Account Executive, Wetherly Fashion Group. "My entire youth I was gadget obsessed. Who needs a Palm Pilot in junior high? Then I was a BlackBerry girl through and through. I thought I would never get an iPhone. Alas, I got an iPhone and I literally can’t imagine owning any other phone. It literally does everything I want (shocking, I know). I guess I drank the iPhone Kool-Aid. I am, however, craving a Nook. To be able to carry around as many books as I want in my purse would be amazing. And frankly, sometimes I don’t want people see the covers of the books I read. Embarrassing!"
