Tania Spinelli

Designer Bio

Shoe designer Tania Spinelli was born into a house of style. Her father was a Sicilian tailor and her mother was a seamstress, both of whom passed on their skilled craftsmanship and love of fine materials to their daughter. Spinelli studied fashion design at Philadelphia University and after graduating moved to Brazil with her husband. Her father-in-law happened to be an established cobbler and gave Spinelli her first taste in shoe design. In 1998, Spinelli returned to the U.S. and joined the design team at Tommy Hilfiger, working in their ready-to-wear department for over six years. Spinelli left apparel to design shoes, launching her eponymous line in February of 2005. Since her shoe debut, Spinelli has enjoyed glowing reviews and has collaborated on projects with Diane Von Furstenberg and Christian Louboutin. [READ MORE]
