In the summer of 2009, Jaya Apparel Group (formally L'Koral Industries), the company behind break away lines such as Elizabeth and James, launched Patterson J. Kincaid: effortlessly chic basics essential to any modern girl's closet. The line is based on a bohemian sensibility that brings an ease in dressing to its adorers. Patterson J. Kincaid is already well regarded for signature pieces that are continually evolved from one season to another through unique fabric combina- tions and inspiring prints. Thoughtful elements like vintage inspired trim details, unexpected zippers and dramatic seam- ing make the effortless pieces stand out. A hit from its inception, Patterson J. Kincaid is constantly expanding and evolving from its foundation of tops and dresses to a broader range of categories including shorts, pants, skirts, jackets and sweaters. A key to the line's success has been designing with the consumer as inspiration: a whimsical, vintage lover who is fashion forward but also seeks an approachable price point. With retail prices ranging from $80 to $168 and typically under $200 for sweaters, Patterson J. Kincaid has quickly become every girl's obsession at a price she doesn't need to obsess over.
