Designer Bio
Jean Louis Blin was established in 1974 by artisans Claudine and Jean Louis Blin. They are located in the Le Marais district of Paris, and currently employ three full-time artisans from the famous Ecole Boulle school. During the 80’s and 90’s, Jean Louis Blin designed for many major fashion houses including Guy Laroche and Thierry Mugler. They also began working with famous Parisian cabarets, like Le Lido and Le Moulin Rouge, where they made experimental crystal jewelry, accessories and lingerie. Since then, Claudine and Jean Louis have spent their time traveling around Europe for inspiration. In 2003, they opened their first retail store in Les Halles. They currently design jewelry for their clients worldwide and travel frequently to buy stones and materials to create beautiful works of art for their new collections.
