Designer Bio

Born in 1980 Jasmine has always been a cocktail of cultures. Educated at the London College of Fashion and DALI at Central St Martin's she realised it was better to learn from experience, and so she started to work as an apprentice in the fashion workrooms at Harrods, discreetly learning from the heart of the industry, not a text book. Working alongside the ateliers and master craftsmen her training is based on their wealth of intricate traditional skills. Inspired by what she was learning Jasmine began to develop a very individual universe of design ideas - which resulted in her first capsule knitwear based collection, "Constellation" (in 2000), the following collection, "Fallen Angels" (in 2003) carried the 'Jasmine Di Milo" label for the first time. In late 2003 the 'Jasmine Di Milo' boutique was launched in Harrods. By the spring/summer 2005 collection, 'Kaleidoscope' her own label was picked up and introduced in a few select retailers. Buyers were attracted by the understated glamour of the Jasmine Di Milo look. The label's inimitable identity combines spirited sophistication with a dark contemporary edge. Traditional couture techniques are mixed with, off-beat tailoring and luxurious textures and fabrics. [READ MORE]
