Designer Bio
SCAD graduate, is proud to be a Tom Boy. Her jewelry line, Elizabeth Knight – named after her grandmother – challenges our idea of “pretty” with the use of uncommon organic shapes and contrasting materials. She designs with just enough feminine zing—delicate gold chains and fresh water pearls — but without being overtly girly. Her silver is oxidized to show all the unique details of a scorpion’s claw, or a rattlesnake’s jaw. Something as delicate and beautiful as a pearl is enclosed with the skeleton hand of a frog, making these things so naturally beautiful. Each piece is made by hand (the true mark of a metal-smith), and easily transcend gender, beg to be layered, and seek intrigue.
