More than twenty years ago, Isaac Manevitz, the son of a fabled jeweler for Egypt’s royal family, began lavishing his energy, knowledge and life-long love affair with jewelry into an exquisite line of designer fashion jewelry called Ben-Amun.
Pronounced ben-AH-moon, the company is named after the designer’s eldest son (Ben), and the King of Egypt (Isaac’s homeland) named Tutankhamun. Soon after its inception, Ben-Amun fever spread quickly. Isaac’s signature creations became a favorite among top fashion editors, who frequently showcased his dazzling designs on the covers and pages of publications such as Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Mirabella, Marie Claire, Essence, and Mademoiselle, to name a few.
